My Drama Can Be Bought
"D.N.A.- Nothing Would Ever Be The Same" by Ey Wade on Ganxy
I can't believe Christmas is so close. Today I have no idea why, I yanked out all of the Christmas decorations. As you would know it, Nicole has a room set away just to hold all of the paraphernalia. Boxes and boxes of anything you can imagine. If nothing else, but for show, Nicole really knew how to set up the Christmas life.
I'm missing the family a lot today. This will be the first Christmas without them. At least I'm not alone. *rubs stomach.* Even though the baby isn't here yet, I want it to know what Christmas is about. We have this giant Nativity scene I'm going to setup as I watch Christmas movies and videos.
My little brothers really loved hanging peppermint candy canes on the tree while I used to like pulling Giante' under the mistletoe to try a sneak a kiss. There won't be any of that this year. I hope the new year will be better.
Just as I pulled the tree into the corner of the living room where it is usually sits, the doorbell rang. It was the Christmas decorating company Nicole had hired the year before.
I'm going to play my favorite Christmas song and let them get on with it. Merry Christmas everyone.

But in this case it did and author Ey Wade did an excellent job with the plot and the emotional aspect.
I mentioned a dysfunctional family earlier, but the nice thing about this story is you don't realize the severity until the story unfolds. From every corner of her life Debney is challenged, and to see how she handles it...well you need to pick up this novel and if you know a teenager, place one in their hands for required reading.
Ms. Wade rolls out this story beautifully with impeccable timing. I was so engrossed and totally shocked at Debney's mother...the real reason I believe this book is called D.N.A.
A highly recommended read!
